Joe Stone

Joe Stone is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
for Cargill.

After joining Cargill in 1985, Joe worked in Cargill AgHorizons and Cargill Grain & Oilseeds business units before joining the Cargill World Trading unit in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2005, he joined Cargill Animal Nutrition and now leads Cargill Animal Nutrition Enterprises. Joe was appointed to the Cargill Board of Directors in December of 2016.

Joe serves as Chief Risk Officer and chairs the Cargill Risk Management Committee, which provides strategic guidance and oversight for Cargill businesses risk management teams globally.

He also serves on the boards of the World Food Program USA, Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance and the Engler School of Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Nebraska. Joe and his wife Chris are trustees for the University of Nebraska Foundation.

We are focused on the integration of Diamond V and building out the fourth leg of the Animal Nutrition System (micro nutrition) – complementing our businesses of Cargill Feed and Nutrition, Cargill Premix and Nutrition, and Cargill Aquaculture and Nutrition.
